This is a PICATINNY optic mounting plate for Glock that replaces the factory rear sight dovetail of all Non-MOS Glocks from Glock 17 to Glock 43 to glock “100”. Does NOT fit Glock with AFTERMARKET slide. Installing the aftermarket red dot plate is not simply “plug and play”. We recommend having a qualified gunsmith to install
This picatinny plate for Glock pistol fit some other Pistols such as Canik TP9SF(does not fit SFX, COMBAT, SA). This Glock plate also fits Taurus GX4, G3C & G3 with factory steel sights (does not fit any other Taurus models such as G2/G2C/G3 without factory steel sight/Tx22/PT111) because those pistols made the rear sight dovetail based on the Glock rear sight dovetail specifications.
This optic dovetail plate made by ADE only fits genuine/standard glock that has a standard factory rear sight. It does NOT for MOS(optics ready) glock. It does NOT fit glock with AFTERMARKET slide.
This picatinny mount provides 2 rail slots. Any red dot optic that equipped with a picatinny plate, is able to attach to this picatinny rail mount on a Glock pistol. Some red dots such as Vortex Venom, Burris Fastfire and ADE RD3 come with a picatinny mount with the red dot purchase, user can use the red dot provided picatinny mount to attach to this picatinny rail mount right away. Please NOTE: Some red dots such as holosun, Trijicon RMR do NOT come with the picatinny plate, user need to buy.
This picatinny rail plate also have two built-in screw hole for red dot with Shield RMS/RMSc footprint and holosun 407k/507k footprint to fit directly on the plate without needing a picatinny plate. Red dots sharing these footprint such as Shield RMSc, Trijicon RMR and Deltapoint Pro have the choices to mount directly on this picatinny rail, or using a picatinny plate(sold separately).

Quality materials - average for purpose
The listing does warn not to try this if your weapon slide is already modified, so keep that in mind. First, it does seem to be made of good materials. Nothing to complain about there. It's not hard to put on if you're familiar with your weapon at all. There isn't much holding the red dot in place, which is what concerned me. Overall, it came as described, was easy to install, and worked as intended. I'm holding a star because it's average, not stellar, and I'm concerned with the red dot holding zero. I want to use it on the range a few more times to really put it to the test. If it comes out perfect, I'll edit and let you know. For now, it's about average and I would recommend it to a friend, but I wouldn't chase down my friends to tell them to buy it.

Rear sight plate could be bigger
The plate that goes into the rear sight dove tail slides right in. However I noticed that when tightening it down, it seems like it's a little small, like there ends up not being a lot of material to hold the plate in the dovetail. In the end I am still able to get a solid lock and the picatinny rail does not move, although it does angle up a little bit. The option to mount an rmr or rmsc is good. The screws on this and optics are generally pretty small and can get over torqued easily. I use loctite and tighten to about 14 in/lbs. This works on my other dots and is holding up on this plate so far for about 250 rounds.

A good option if you don't mind your red dot sitting a bit higher than necessary
Just a note before my review . The listing for this leads you to believe it is silver colored . It is not, it is actually black. Now on to the review. This is meant to replace the rear sight on a Glock pistol. You need to use a sight pusher to push the rear sight out of its dovetail and replace it with the small dovetail shaped insert. Then you can use the supplied screws to attach the mount to the insert. As you can see in the picture, between the man screws there are two smaller set screws. These are to tighten down against the slide to add more stability. It seems very stable, and the picatinny rail seems to be attached firmly. I would definitely add lock tight to all of these screws. Now that you have a picatinny rail firmly attached to your Glock slide you can now add your red dot. Many red dots come with a picatinny plate attached to the bottom of them. The listing points out that this plate also has built in screw holes that line up with the RMS/ RMSc footprint. In my opinion that is not a good option because there are no indexing posts coming up from the plate to go into the holes in the red dot. This means that you are depending on just the two screws to hold the red dot properly in place. In my opinion, this is just asking for trouble. I think the better option is to use the picatinny plate that came with the red dot. If the red dot did not come with one, and you don't want to get one then I think you should get one of the non picatinny red dot mounting plates that attach to the Glock slide the same as this one. They are available and would have the necessary posts to hold your red dot securely. They would also give you a slightly lower profile for your red dot than this one. This plate is well made and well finished and if you want to add a picatinny rail to your Glock I can recommend this one.

Good fit and easy install. Haven't mounted optic yet but it feels like it will be very solid.

Well made a quality part
The fit was good and installation was a snap, a good mount for the money.

Easy to mount, mounted it on my G17. It doesn't fit flush. The Quality is good and it's sturdy. It also a good price. Got it in 2 days

Does its Job
It fits the pistols it is supposed to fit and holds a variety of sights one might choose to add to a Glock. Red dot sights are sort of cheating on the pistol range, but can guarantee accuracy with little effort.

This does the job!
Works good! Fit my glock 20 just fine. The picatinny rail fit one of my mounts just fine. You will need a sight pusher tool to install this, but that seems to be a mandatory buy for glock enthusiasts anyway. Recommended!

Excellent !
Excellent adapter for your pistol, manufactured of what looks like one piece of billet material, the finish is very well done, the fluorescent beads look very bright when looking through the sight, very nice little addition to any fire arm, give the fire arm more body, especially when they are subcompact, Good for the price range ! Very well made light weight product .

Game Changer
Awesome product. Best purchase all year. My favorite pistol in a Gen 1 Glock 19 and this just gave me more to love about the gun. Easy install. If you do not know guns well I would find a video on removing the original sights. It slides right in place Easy sight mount and holds true shot after shot.

Picatinny Rail Optic Mount plate for Glock
Mounted on a Glock G23 Gen 4. Mounting was easy enough. I had an aftermarket front and rear sight already mounted and have a dovetail sight removal tool. I mounted the rail and a Vortex Defender CCW red dot. I like the look of the handgun now, and will likely use it as my CCW. I can say it was easy to mount, the rail is black. It came with mounting screws for multiple types of handguns. Will update after I've had a chance to sight in the red dot.

secure fit on a my G17
This rail mount was easy to install, light weight and is secure on my G17, it would have worked out great except for my Cheap knock off RMR optic i have. My cheap PSO red dot has two screws that do not meet up with this mount but i am sure if you had a higher dollar red dot it should mount up just right. So if you do not have a RMR cut in your slide this is a good option for you.
