The Glock mounting plate replaces the factory rear sight dovetail on all standard non-MOS Glock models, as well as selected Taurus and Canik pistols. It provides a secure base for popular red dot sights by replacing the rear iron sight.
This Glock plate also fits Taurus GX4, G3C, and G3 models with factory steel sights because their rear sight dovetail matches Glock’s exactly. Taurus designed these dovetails based on Glock’s rear sight specifications. Other Taurus models such as G2, G2C, TX22, PT111, and some G3 versions have different dovetail dimensions and require a different mounting plate.
This mounting plate is not compatible with Glock MOS (optics ready) models or Glocks with aftermarket optic cuts.
If you have an aftermarket Glock slide, please consult the slide manufacturer about the optic cut and contact us to confirm compatibility.
For Glock MOS models, you need the official Glock-provided #01 or #05 mounting plate (available free from Glock) to attach the red dot directly. Our plate is designed for standard Glocks replacing the rear sight and is not intended for optics-ready slides.
