    I'm impressed!

Posted by Hawkeye on 19th Sep 2025

i think this is the best bipod i have seen and until you get your hands on it you cant rate it. but thats what im here for. when closed it does not CANT or Pivot at all. it is very well made. the bipod button is a little tricky at first because you have to grip while pushing the button and the legs will release. it doesnt open very wide compared to a harris but is still very stable with the CANT pivot and wont fall over. what i really like is that you can still use a 30 round mag setting on the guns butt with the bipod open and it doesnt touch the dirt. they did there homework on this peice. im going to be looking at a lot more products from MAKO! good job!

    Versatile!

Posted by DRaKKuL on 19th Sep 2025

Great foregrip and even better bipod. Takes a good beating. This is something you can really use without fear of breaking it. Better than the 1st version, as this version installs to your rail with hand screws...no tools. The buttons to deploy and collapse work really good and fast. The only thing to beware of is it's a little heavy, but you should expect that from a bipod/grip combp. Pros: Very functional and built like a tank Cons: A little heavy

Truly Excellent Grip and Bipod Combo

Posted by Dewey cox on 19th Sep 2025

Well designed and built to last. I'd recommend this product to anyone. Bipod legs adjust independently unlike the competition's. Pros: Solid Construction. Works Great. Cons: Price a bit steep.

    Well Designed, Functional bipod

Posted by Reviewer, on 19th Sep 2025

This is a nicely designed multi-use foregrip and bipod. I liked the pivoting feature which the older model did not have. The grip is somewhat heavy for its size, but that goes to the quality metal components that are obviously underneath the plastic/fiberglass shell. Pros: Well Designed and well made Cons: Heavier than I expected

    Great product!!

Posted by Legacy Reviewer, on 19th Sep 2025

Some folks say it is wobbly but I have found that not to be the case. I have 5 of these and they are all well made and worth the money. Obviously for the pro that does not mind carrying the extra weight a metal bipod would be the choice but this is great for mobility. Pros: All good Cons: Can't find anything negative to say.

Any multi-use tool has limitations however this is a great foregrip and midrange bipod. Takes a little practice to cleanly deploy bipod in a "stress" situation. Time will tell if this unit will survive. Pros: toolless setup, rotation & tilt options

    QR grip w/bipod

Posted by Reviewer, V on 18th Sep 2025

I bought this grip/bipod along with the non-pivoting version to mount on another rifle and, while I'm happy with both, this one is significantly more adjustable. True its a little more money but in my opinion, were I to do it over again I would have bought 2 of this version. Pros: super manueverable/adjustable Cons: slightly higher profile

    Not Optics Planet

Posted by Legacy Reviewer, on 18th Sep 2025

This product is great! The grip fit perfect on my firearm. there is a little play on the legs(i think they can be tightened by hex screws on the inners) but it does what it says. The optics planet crew is horrible, and the company is worst. it took 4 phone calls and eventually had to call the manufacturer to get the product shipped. if you want to pay optics planet, then call mako, have them call optics plant, and then call optics planet, and then call back mako, and have three days to do all this. then buy through optics planet. otherwise buy fom mako or local. hte extra $20 is worth the money. Pros: The product Cons: The company

    Durable fore grip!!

Posted by Legacy Reviewer, on 18th Sep 2025

This is a very durable addition to any weapon. The only problem if any I have had with it is when you press the buttons to release the bipod it is quite loud which if predator hunting can be a problem and if mud gets where the two legs meet they don't wanna close very well. Great for using on rocky areas or dry areas though. I would stoll recommend this product though just because 9/10 situations where you would use this it is great!

    Great Fore Grip

Posted by Steve on 18th Sep 2025

Tremendous versatility and strength. Great for a/r. Having the ability to rotate is great for coyote. Pressure switch allows for your choice of tac light. The strength of the grip is not accomplished through extreme mass, so there's not a lot of added weight on the front of the rifle. The multi-height adjusment legs are great for uneven surfaces. Very quick and easy to colapse from bipod to fore grip and get back on the move -same for visa versa.

    Foregrip Bipod

Posted by by Bob, on 18th Sep 2025

Item arrived in a timely fashion and was exactly as described. Build quality is excellent. Took it to the range and used for sighting in my new iron sights and was pleased with the results. If I was to change anything, it might be to make the side to side movement, i.e. rotation about the weapon's length axis, (not the left/right swivel mechanism) slightly less loose. Still very useable as is. I am completely pleased with this purchase.

    Perfect for the designated marksman

Posted by hunerd on 18th Sep 2025

Good product overall will buy another one for another build. The grip is solid. More stable than I thought it would be. Very easy to deploy and put away. If you want to go to prone in a heartbeat and be able to move to the next position very quickly (i.e, I'm up, he sees me, I'm down) then this is the bipod for you. Yes, it is not light, but neither is a specterdr 1.5-6x or just the .308 rounds. IDF makes things right. You can tell that they live in a tough neighborhood.

The T-Pod gen 2 is incredibly well made, the materials are all top quality and the mechanism to deploy the legs is very robust. My only criticism would be that the pivot is very stiff and on loose dry surfaces or very smooth surfaces the feet don't grip. This isn't too big an issue.

Great product works perfect for what I do love the quick release and swivel feature overall great love it. Feels good in the hand with the I groves for the fingers push release button is in the perfect spot in my opinion u can always add a light on the side rail or something. The bipod again works really good shooting from a bench or something again the swivel and rotating feature really makes this product, ur not dragging the feet across the pavement or whatever else. All in all perfect product love it!

Awsome for a 2 in one product

Posted by BlazzerSS, on 17th Sep 2025

Good grip, good size. Bi-pod works as expected. It is adjustable so that is very nice and it rotates and tilts. I think it is much better than a regular bi-pod. It does add some weight to the front end but that is not an issues for me as a medium to long range shooter.

    Integrated Adjustable Foregrip

Posted by SpiderMD, on 17th Sep 2025

Very well built and just what I was looking for.... but I do have a problem deploying the legs. It takes way more pressure than I believe is nessary on the button to deploy the legs. I'm no 90lb weakling and it takes both thumbs applying a lot of pressure to get it to break loose. I'm hoping over time it will loosen up! This is the only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars.

    .and it pivots!

Posted by Collector on 15th Sep 2025

Well constructed unit, very sturdy. Functionality is not intuitive, but after a few minutes had it working perfectly. Held up nicely at the range, both as a foregrip and a bipod. I won another mil spec retractable bipod and while it deploys a bit smother with the touch of a button, the Fab Defense is independently adjustable on both sides, with several height settings. If you're looking for rapid deployment with adjustability- this is a solid option.

Nice grip, not worth the premium

Posted by KT on 15th Sep 2025

Nice vertical bipod grip but for the money it should deploy easier. The grip tends to pinch pinch hand on closure and it should fold forward. I would not buy this again for the money. It is durable and appears to be rugged construction.

Pretty sweet setup, but bipod could be sturdier.

Posted by Wildwest on 15th Sep 2025

I really like the feel and look of this grip, and after some initial break in period the handle opens into a bipod fairly easily. I can close it back up with one hand if needed. The swivel feature and adjustable legs are best part of bipod, but the legs aren't that firm when fully extended. It does the job but I can see for longer range needs a better, sturdier bipod may be desired.

The BEST Foregrip & Bi-Pod on the planet!

Posted by Brian on 15th Sep 2025

This is "MUST HAVE" gear for any rifle! The versatility of having a foregrip and adjustable bi-pod is awesome, and I can't stress enough that this is money well spent. The adjustable bi-pod and its pivoting base are perfect for bench shooting. When using this as a bi-pod with AR-style rifles, you will only be able to use a 20 round magazine.

    Pleasantly Surprised

Posted by IAmTheJeremy on 15th Sep 2025

I purchased the bipod not quite sure what to expect when I got it. I read many reviews on different websites and always felt the reviews were mixed. The two main detractors I saw were the weight (it is heavy) and that it was not stable when fully extended. After using it to sight in my new Eotech I can say that yes it’s heavy but I did not feel it was sloppy at all when extended. Sure there is some play but it was less than expected and I did expect some based on the design. I feel this was a great addition to my rifle and would recommend it to anyone looking for a combo setup like this.

Posted by SHOOT on 15th Sep 2025

This is my 3rd that I use on my 3 SCAR rifles. Although these last two that I just received stick and take a little extra effort to open which I contribute to being new and not broken in of sort, I still like them. Granted, they should work properly right out of the package, which is what my 1st did, but I'm hoping they will break in with some extra initial operation.

Fit and funtion is good. I like the design, and the idea of combining the bi-pod funtion inside the fore grip was a nice piece of engineering. No instructions are necessary, a little common sense a some tinkering and your off to the gun range.

    Boy is this thing heavy

Posted by Reproman, on 14th Sep 2025

I have no issues with this product, other than it is heavy. It is easy to deploy, easy to collapse, and is even sturdier than I expected. But don't underestimate the weight this little guy will add. I have no issues that it is plastic, it appears to be a quality product.

    Great Foegrip And Bipod Combination

Posted by RugerLvr on 14th Sep 2025

Having never had the chance to use one of these before, I was not sure how I would like it. I generally like singular, purpose built accessories but having installed and used this bipod, I would have to say I love it. The foregrip is just the right size for my hands and the shape makes it that much more comfortable. The incredible bonus for an already great forgrip is that is doubles as a bipod. Sturdy, well built, stylish, and functional beyond my expectations. Have it on a Ruger 556 AR platform and so far it is working out great! I would recommend this for any AR platform and for anyone willing to give a combo accessory a try. You will not be disappointed.

Very good quality product. Nice Solid bipod definetally not a cheap plastic set up. I have it on a 224 valkyrie, the swivel is awesome for shooting multiple targets without having to lift the gun and get reset. It is super stable absolutely no slop or flex making it nice for punching paper. I really like it for coyote hunting as it is a light setup. I did a lot of research before I bought this. I wanted a grip and a bipod but Wanted it to be as light as possible for hunting. the fab defence had the best looking setup and the material I was after. Extremely happy with this product

Posted by Corey on 14th Sep 2025

It’s a very built product. The quality of the product is obvious. It’s a bit expensive. The bipod and the fluid head are great. It’s a little on the heavy side, but because of the quick detach it’s easy to remove and put back on. However, I am pleased with the product and I recommend it.

    Bad A$$ Foregrip

Posted by Xgen on 10th Sep 2025

I recently purchased a Desert Tech MDR and wanted a good forward grip for the mdr, but also wanted a bipod. Without adding a tremendous amount of weight, I looked at combination items. My fear was that this would be like another one of those crappy plastic airsoft quality pos. After serving in the military, I wanted something that could stand abuse... well this thing most certainly does! It's solid all the way around. The only thing I would change is the ease of relock up, its a bit frustrating.

So amazing to have a bipod and vertical grip in one. It is so useful too go from standing up too laying down in seconds. Not to mention it’s real sturdy and well made. One thing read the instructions clearly cause I accidentally raised the legs without closing the foregrip first so I thought they were stuck. But I figured it out real quick but I was worried I had just wasted money for something I broke in the first 5 minutes of use. Really and truly it is such an amazing grip and I am certainly happy with it.

    Cool Bipod!

Posted by Golfbum on 9th Sep 2025

I love this foregrip with an integrated bipod. It gives you 2 accessories in one. I originally had a bipod with an M-Lok attachment which worked well but I was looking to add a foregrip as well but it added a lot of bulk and weight with both of them on. The bipod on this foregrip is quick and easy to deploy and also easy to retract. When deployed it has a bit of swivel and tilt which is nice. This one accessory was less weight than both a bipod and foregrip attached. It’s very durable and comfortable to use. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants the best of both worlds!

Very cool device, handle attached to the front rail and converts into a tripod with a touch of a button. Has adjustable legs for comfort shot. Handle can also help to steady your shot when standing. Comes in different colors and looks great on my AR.

Solid structure and love how when the by pods are down you can swivel with the attachment! Not cheap plastic material, pretty good bang for your buck if you ask me ! When your ready to bring them up just squeeze forgrip together and slap them against your knee !

    Second time purchased

Posted by Smitty on 9th Sep 2025

Bought my first for my AR10 and now enjoying this one. I really like the rotating function. It was easy to install and is very well built. I have had my first one for about 5 years and still works like a champ. Made in Isreal to boot, not China.

    Not to bad

Posted by Zed on 9th Sep 2025

So, I generally like the grip. It's a bit heavy, but not terrible. It seems to be pretty sturdy construction, and functions as advertised. My only negative thoughts on it are that when closing up the bipod it can pinch your hand if your not careful. Also, the feet seem to be hard rubber, or plastic and aren't very grippy. I also think that the bracket for mounting a pressure switch would be better on the right side of the grip. All things considered,I am happy with my purchase.

    Interesting Dual Purpose Accessory

Posted by Kyle, on 8th Sep 2025

Its well made and tough. Its a nice accessory for an SPR or any rifle you want to use for cqb or long range. The bipod is quite mobile. The only downside is that it is quite heavy and you will need to compromise on positioning for either use. Overall its an interesting product.

This product is amazing! Allows for close quarter maneuverability and long distance precision shooting. Great for hunting long and short range distances. Installed on my 6.5 Creedmoor to go bear hunting and couldn’t be happier

    Awesome Product

I put this on a custom built ruger 10/22 that uses the fab defense stock. I love the way it operates. Great quality, fit,and feel. You should buy this for your gun . Fab Defense has definitely hit the mark with this item.

    G2 foregrip

Posted by Adan Sanchez, on 8th Sep 2025

This things pretty solid. Does weigh a bit but nothing too bad. I'm assuming you have strength since you handle weapons. It's a really solid piece the bipod on it is really dope. Stuck it on my ar with the od green and man it looks sick. Bout to get one for my ak.

Good compromise between grip & bipod, but bulky

Posted by Matt on 8th Sep 2025

It is heavy, coming in around a full pound, and if you have it forward on your barrel as you most likely will than this is a hefty addition that will bring the nose down more that you will need to compensate for. The foregrip is very comfortable and the molded sections for your fingers fit nicely. The wing nuts on the side are a bit bulky and the 'head' of it overall is quite large. The flashlight switch slot on the side did not fit my Streamlight version, it might only work on Surefire (not certain).

Excellent pod works well with ar-15 highly recommend this product. Has tilt and easily to detach. Very well built hood quality. Highly recommend this product for an everyday user. Will consider buying more in the future for other builds.

    Good, but Not Great

Posted by Mark Paul on 8th Sep 2025

The grip itself is very nice, and it's exactly what i wanted and was looking for. The size is fantastic, and the feel is just right. The pistol grip indentation is exactly what is needed to feel natural in your hand.

It’s just ok so I got a different one

Posted by Geo on 8th Sep 2025

To me it was a bit too heavy and large in diameter for my preference. So I went with a gps-v2 and keep this one as a back up or a give away for a friend in need. It’s nice, it just was not great enough.

    Tactical Foregrip & Bipod

    Posted by N, on 7th Sep 2025

Seems good quality solid made. The button to release legs is hard to release. I currently see no way to attached pressure pad for light/laser operation. I would recommend this product based on the fact that seems quality made.

Doesn't lock on pan or tilt.

Posted by Gnolom, on 7th Sep 2025

This is fun for plinking but I noticed my groups improve with a standard Harris (s-brmmp). I attribute this to the pan and tilt shifting under recoil (5.56 and 308), My groups improved by ~0.65" @ 100 w/ 308 and ~0.50" @ 100 w/ 5.56. Also, the legs get locked up if pushed up all the way when legs were separated. -- took a while to learn how to fix the issue, but can fix in 15 seconds when you know the issue and how to solve it.

    slightly above meh

Posted by jacquamo, on 7th Sep 2025

It’s pretty dope that you get a bipod by a push of a button, but then the bottom of the legs are hard plastic. It’d be nice to have some kind of rubber bottom or something with some kind of grip. It does slide a little bit and has some wiggle even without the legs extended. I think it’s a little overpriced would be five stars if that price point was right around 100 bucks.

    Grip/Bipod Combo

    Posted by D.F.T., on 7th Sep 2025

I'm extremely happy with this purchase. It's exactly what was advertised. Heavy duty construction, fairly tight tolerances on all rotational surfaces. Rock solid when used as a grip, & feels natural to the hand. SIGNIFICANTLY improves stability, both in offhand, & kneeling position. Especially for follow on shots. It's a better bipod than it is a grip

    well engineered

Posted by Rex Mantooth, on 7th Sep 2025

very sturdy and well engineered bipod/grip. There’s a bit of a learning curve with the mechanics of deploying and storing it, but nothing that reps & muscle memory can’t overcome.

The item is very durable and the distinct audible clicks when releasing or locking in position is a nice indicator. The maneuverability is also an added.

    Foregrip/bipod

Posted by Dave on 9th May 2025

Decent price. Fits easily to Mlok compatible hand guards . Didn’t add much weight. It feels a little cheap, but works well enough as a bipod or foregrip. I glued the rubber screw cover to stop it coming off. I’m happy with it.

    Loose Handle

Posted by Armand Bellard on 25th Apr 2025

The handle was not sturdy. While at the range the handle moved postions which became unsafe. Had high hopes for this device.
