The first time I took it out, I noticed the mount needed to be tightened a bit more after some shooting. Once I added threadlocker and re-secured everything, it’s been completely solid ever since. It’s been holding zero consistently, and I haven’t had to mess with it again. Definitely worth taking a little extra time during setup.

I mainly use this at the range, and it’s been great for that purpose. Easy to use and improves shooting experience.

You’ll want to spend a bit of time getting everything tightened and zeroed, but once that’s done, it performs reliably.

This is not the best product I have bought lately. Replaced the rear sight on my sr45 ruger with this red dot sight and not only did the sight never line up with the target but after a couple of times of readjustment the sight dot would move after shooting a couple of rounds. And even when I used thread locker for the set screws the sight plate would come loose and move around after about 30 rounds. This sight looks very nice but the functionality of it is the worst . Reinstalled my factory sight and no worries only results. If you only care about looks and not functionality then this is the sight for you.

I finally find a plate with the dovetail that fits a ruger and comes with a red dot ! That's awesome !. The red dot is pretty bright and instructions are straight to the point .
