This ADE Trumpet is also available in Green Multi-Reticle(RD3-029 PRO/GREEN) and Blue Dot(RD3-029 BLUE) Model.
The ADE Trumpet PRO (RD3-029 ) features a 4 MOA red dot, built to seamlessly fit any pistol mounting plate, slide, or cut compatible with popular red dot footprints, including RMR/SRO and Holosun 407C/507C/508T.
The ADE Trumpet (RD3-029 BLUE) is a cutting-edge 2025 innovation, introducing the industry's first blue dot reflex sight, specifically designed for individuals with astigmatism who find traditional red or green dots challenging to use.
Equipped with a Motion Activated System, the Trumpet automatically enters sleep mode after five minutes of inactivity, conserving battery life. Upon detecting any motion or vibration, the red dot illumination instantly reactivates at the previous brightness level. Users can also manually disable this feature by turning off the red dot power.
The Trumpet PRO boasts a side-loading battery tray, eliminating the need to remove the sight for battery changes. With a battery life of up to 20,000 hours, the sight offers 7 brightness settings, including one designed specifically for use with night vision. It operates with a single CR1632 battery.
This sight is parallax-free and offers unlimited eye relief for enhanced accuracy and ease of use. Crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum with an anodized black finish and a multi-coated lens, the Trumpet ensures durability and excellent visual performance.

ADE, RD3-006 Huracan,RD3-009 Crusader,RD3-012 Delta, RD3-013 Bertrillium fit optic cut/plate that is compatible with Vortex Venom/Burris Fastfire/Doctor footprint. RD3-015 Zantitium, RD3-028 Ares fit plate(does NOT fit slide due to larger size) that is compatible with Vortex Venom/Burris Fastfire/Doctor footprint. Please note: Some aftermarket slides have a precise optic cut based on the curved edge/corner of Vortex Venom, one of the common slide manufacturers is PSA Dagger(with Doctor cut). ADE and other brand red dots do NOT have the same curve as Vortex Venom, therefore ADE RD3-006, 009, 012, 013 do NOT fit the aftermarket slide with CURVED vortex venom optic cut. ADE red dots with Doctor footprints only fit squared optic cuts that accept standard Doctor Footprints.

great for subcompact/compact pistols; 5 minute auto shut off with shake awake
This sight is compatible with RMR footprint. The sight is made for a subcompact to compact pistol. It does have the shake awake function and shuts off after five minutes of inactivity. Seven brightness settings are adjustable by the buttons on the side fairly easily. The red dot is 4 MOA. The side load battery tray allows battery changes without removing the sight. It also has backup rear sights in case the battery dies which is ideal. The overall sight is also fairly lightweight which is nice. Overall, the sight is very good quality, easy to mount, and easy to use.

An excellent value for pistol caliber platforms
This red dot optic is easy to operate, was easy to set up and held zero through two hundred rounds fired through a Kris Vector 9mm carbine. The dot is very small, probably more appropriate for an actual pistol as opposed to a carbine, BUT it does have a place on those platforms when mounted on a 45 degree offset in case you prefer to save rail space on top for a longer range optic. For quick target acquisition these small red dot are almpost unbeatable. Brightness setting were adequate even in direct sunlight. The dot did not distort regardless of intensity setting. 5 stars. These optics are finally starting to come down in price!

Very Small Form Factor. Well Executed Design. Shake Awake. An Average Value.
Overall: 5/5 This is a really small red dot – even by pistol standards. I like the design, the battery (CR1632) accessibility, and the functionality. The dot it bright and the controls are intuitive. Love shake awake no matter what it’s on. It comes with a cover, a screwdriver, attachment screws, a lens wipe, and instructions. Although they say parallax free (as do many manufacturers) there seems to be some in the near range – a somewhat common issue for red dots when sighted at close ranges. It will take a range trip to confirm or deny that completely. Be aware, the included instructions note that this is only designed for recoil up to .45. For now, presumptively going with 5 of 5 based on everything I can see and touch along with my previous experience with products from this manufacturer. Quality: 5/5 Well made with no noticeable flaws. Value: 4/5 An average value, durability, design features, performance, and comps.

Nice little optical
I had never really considered using an optical on my handguns especially because of the difficulty in finding holsters that are optic friendly but...times change. I bought this for one of my Springfields, though it can be used on any optic ready or optic retrofit handgun. I got lucky and had the rail mount for the gun already so I was able to mount this pretty easily. It's meant to be used on a variety of gun rails (you can read the description for a list). It was easy to use - two button, long press to turn on, short presses on lighter or darker. I was happy to see that the battery access was on the side of the optic and not underneath. Most of the ones I've used require you to dismount the optic before changing the battery.

Functions Perfectly – design allows almost instant site picture acquisition- "unlimited" eye relief
Functions Perfectly – Open design allows almost instant site picture acquisition- "unlimited" eye relief Unfortunately, or fortunately, we are living in the midst of a rapid evolution of types of “optics ready” pistol slides with a plethora of proprietary mounting systems. You must be careful that you match your “FOOTPRINT TYPE”. This is a so called “RDR” sight but it has the proprietary “SRO” or “Holosun 407C/507C/508T” footprint mounting system. I really like the very useful automatic off and “motion activated” feature. The manufacturer has high Quality Control standards because the parts were flawless. The windage and elevation adjustments operate smoothly and stay put. The mechanical and optical engineers were really thinking and they designed a great sight. I have a severe eye vision problem called “an astigmatism”. My Cornea is distorted and that distortion distorts point images and makes the point image appear as a smear. I did not understand this phenomenon when I got my first tube enclosed Red Dot scope. To me the Red Dot appeared as an hourglass instead of the perfectly round Red Dot it should have been. So, I sent the “defective” Red Dot Scope back and got a replacement. Only to see the same hourglass shape, instead of the perfectly round Red Dot, on the replacement scope. I showed the Red Dot Scope to a more knowledgeable friend of mine and he told me that he saw a perfectly round Red Dot and he explained my eyesight problem and off I went to the eye doctor. It turns out that special contacts can somewhat correct my eye vision problem. I showed this OPEN RED Dot sight to my friend, who has good vision, and he said that the image is perfectly sharp. So, if you think that this OPEN RED Dot scope has a lower quality image, then you need to have your eyes examined and your vision corrected as much as possible. There is a special contact lens that really fixes your astigmatism so that you can see better without as much distortion.

Quality Red Dot that Stays at Zero!
I picked up this Trumpet (model RD3-029) from ADE Advanced Optics to see how it would perform as I usually use Swampfox or Holosun optics on my handguns. Red dots are necessary for me because they have worked wonders for those of us whose eyesight is getting poorer as they age. It came in a nice box and was packaged very well. Inside you get the optic, optic cover, screw for windage/elevation adjustments, allen wrenches, screws, lens cloth and a 1632CR battery to power it. It does NOT come with an optics plate so you'll need to provide your own if you need one. The optic itself has a 4 MOA dot with 7 brightness settings, with the lowest setting only visible by night vision. You can turn it on or off by holding the up or down arrow for 3 seconds. It also has shake'n'wake technology and auto/on off - TWO features that I demand from a red dot. If a sight does not have at least those two features I won't even consider it as modern optics have no excuse to NOT include those. It also has a side-loaded battery which also is a nice feature. I mean, who wants to constantly remove the optic to replace the battery? The sight itself is made out of aircraft aluminum and has a very solid and premium feel to it. This is an RMR footprint red dot, so if your firearm slide isn't cut for that then you'll need a separate optic plate. Does it work on my firearm? Let's find out. I zeroed it in at home with a laser bore sight at 30 feet and then took it to the range. In total, I put a total of 184 rounds through my S&W M&P 2.0 Performance Center and the zero didn't budge once! I stopped after every couple mags (23 rounds each) too, just to check to see if the zero had moved. It stayed right at the original zero the entire time. Obviously, zero is very important because despite what cool features it may have if a dot sight can't stay at zero it's worthless. This one proved it's worth to me. As far as longevity and durability is concerned, I can't speak to that right now since I haven't had it for very long but I see no reason why it will not last if you take the necessary care and concern (i.e. don't drop it). I use my pistols for the range and home defense so I'm not running around with them like a soldier so I anticipate that this will definately last for me. However, if anything changes in the future I will certainly update my review. I'm happy to report that this sight is a a keeper for me.

Nice Optic
So far very please with this. Replaced the battery with a quality one. Fit my dagger perfectly. Seems like it will hold up well, only time will tell.

Works well
Works just as good as a optic I spent $400 on

Complete kit - ready to mount
I really liked the extra thought that went into the design and packaging of this scope. First, it comes with a silicone cover that fits snugly over the sight to keep it clean and undamaged. It also has an automatic shut-off that saves the battery when it is covered or is sitting still for a extended period. It comes with full mounting accessories like a custom screwdriver and Allen wrench, as well as a sight calibration tool that helps you get it adjusted to correctly parallel the gun’s barrel for maximum accuracy. The sight itself is a good size. It’s a little smaller than I expected which is good - I was concerned that it would tower over the gun and make it feel unwieldy. I don’t get that sense from this sight, and definitely appreciate it. It is well constructed, and comes with full instructions and information. On the whole I feel this is a very good value for the price.

Solid RMR at this price point
Somewhere between cheapy RMR's that dont hold zero and the Majors who require cutting off body parts to afford, is where this optic sits. It has most of the features of the major, and some that the majors don't, but not the price tag. The dot is clear and adjustable brightness. The form factor is small, but with practice, you can find the dot from draw. It is easy to mount The buttons are easy to operate, even with my left fat thumb with right hand properly gripping gun It comes with PROPER ENGLISH description/instruction Shake awake feature Easy Battery change Built-in rear iron site. (So if things go south, you still have windage. If you have a front post, you can co-witness.) 4 MOA dot is a good size for finding, but not covering , a target. Rubber cover If you are looking for a red dot, but don't want to drop a fortune, or buy a cheap POC, this could be your perfect solution.

reat entry level RDS
For my range toy this is going to be the ticket. It has a 4MOA dot, shake awake, and a side changing battery. The 'Shake Awake' does work as expected. The dot is easy to see, and brightness adjustments are simple. The window is fairly large, but there is a section at the bottom where it blocks the dot. For now, it's riding on a 16" mid-length, in an offset picatinny mount. I had an extra picatinny RMR mount, and it lined up perfectly. I generally try to put a thousand rounds down range, before I trust an optic, so we'll see how this holds up. For the price you cannot go wrong, will it hold up to the any real abuse? I don't know. This would probably be a great entry into the world of red dots, just so you can decide if you want to spend Trijicon money. It would also be perfect on a .22.
