This green dot sight comes equipped with a Picatinny mounting base and is also compatible with various handgun mounting plates that replace the rear sight dovetail. It's designed to fit the Doctor Footprint Plate/Slide seamlessly.
The on/off switch for this sight is conveniently positioned at the front, making it much easier to press compared to red dots with side-mounted switches. It features a 3 MOA dot size and offers 5 illumination settings. The sight is fully adjustable for windage and elevation and can be locked into place. With unlimited eye relief and various illumination settings, it is powered by an included lithium CR2032 battery.
Since its initial release in 2014, we've implemented numerous improvements to enhance its durability, ensuring it can withstand recoil while also improving its ability to hold zero. The front switch, battery housing, and hardware have all been recently updated, reflecting our commitment to continuous enhancement. This product is proudly designed in Oregon.
Although it's feasible to install the optic on a handgun without the assistance of a gunsmith, we highly recommend seeking the expertise of a professional for the installation process. It's essential to note that unprofessional installations, such as improper torque application, can lead to issues like loose screws, an inability to hold zero, damage to the firearm or optic, and even pose a risk of personal injury.
If you're not seeing a perfect round dot but instead observe a splashed dot, half-moon shape, multi-dot, or starburst, there's a high probability (99%) that you might have astigmatism without being aware of it. What you perceive is likely a small reflection of the LED light on the lens. A quick and simple way to confirm this is by using your cellphone to take a photo of the dot. If the photo shows a circular dot, you've essentially diagnosed yourself with astigmatism.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Price, Acceptable Quality - Don't forget to tighten the locking screws!
First of all, I'm new to firearms. Less than a year. Have plenty of military and LEO friends who provide a wide range of advice and experience. That said, all discouraged me from "cheap" or "inexpensive" optics, such as the ADE brand. I watched several videos, read several reviews on this particular model (RD3-006B) and the evals were mixed. Decided at the price point, it would be a fine experiment. Green is easier on my eyes, hence this model. Installed a DPP titanium rear sight dovetail adapter on a Glock 19 with the included Loctite blue on the screws. Installed the RD3-006B on it (I don't think I used Blue though...) Zeroed it with a bore sight laser at 7. Made sure the elevation and windage screws were tight. Took it to the range (only have indoor in the area that's affordable for me). After 100 rounds, it held zero. After the second hundred, it had moved up just a tiny bit, I almost could not tell. Still able to put shots where I wanted well within a 3" area. Another 100 rounds and the elevation change was more noticeable. Still had shots acceptably were I wanted. Re-zeroed and fired strong hand, less accurate, but still pretty close to where I wanted. Fired weak hand...let's just leave it at that....Finally, for fun, sent it down 25. I can't see that clearly at that distance...but put 7/10 on the paper. Less of those were even close to where I wanted, but that's NOT the fault of the sight of course (nerf aging). All in all, for me, I felt it performed well for what I paid. I should recheck if I used Blue when mounting it into the dovetail adapter as that could account for the slight elevation changes. Never needed to touch the windage adjustment during use. The dot is easy to see. The adjustable brightness levels make is easy to find a comfortable brightness. I don't like the power button on the front, but that's a personal preference. Point is, be honest with yourself about your expectations. If you buy this at $70-ish dollars expecting the quality and performance of a $200+ Holosun, Sig, or a "Brand Name X" , YOU WILL NOT GET IT. If you buy the RD3-006B understanding it's NOT "Brand X" and will NOT perform as "Brand X" but WILL get the job done with maybe an occasional need to re-zero (a tiny bit), you won't be disappointed. In a year, with more experience, my view may change. However, with my limited experience with firearms NOW, it's a good buy in my opinion and I'm keeping it.

Fantastic sight!
I'd done some research for micro pistol sights. Wanted to update my Browning Buckmark. Definately NOT have much money to spend, I purchased a TS picatanney rail and this sight. RD3-006B (Green dot) It was so easy to install and power on. Being I was inside and it was dark out, looking at the brightest setting, I thought that was way too bright. But finally getting to shoot yesterday, being outside made me certainly take back that initial thought. Shooting with alot of sunlight, that #5 setting brightness was great to have. (having options are great!) The size of this is perfect. Not to big and not to small. You must remember to "unlock" the lock-set screws prior to adjusting the movement screws. However, once you get the sight dialed in, tighten the lock screws and you're in business. I shot over 100 rounds yesterday and it stayed zeroed in.

Fantastic optic
What a great pistol optic!! I recently mounted this on a Taurus TX22 for competition speed shooting. It's light, easy to mount and I love the five brightness settings. It's even easy to see in bright sunlight. Using it at last week's competition, I took more than ten seconds (about 20%) off my time when compared to iron sights. I was concerned adding the extra weight on the slide of .22 would not allow it to cycle properly but it proved not to be an issue at all. Due to the small window, it seemed like it took forever to acquire the dot for the first shot. I wish it were just a little bigger but that would add more weight and may affect the cycling of the slide. With a larger caliber, that may not be an issue but for what I need it for, my .22, I love it. Would definitely buy again.

Very clear I structions.
As. Shootest I was familiar with mou ting the sight. The nice past was the very clear I suction on sighting it in. I was impressed with them. With my bore sight I was able to match the dots quickly and accurately. It is on my ATI AR410. Nice addition.

Fantastic optic for low price
Recently shot 100+ rounds over the weekend and it stayed mounted and didn't experience any issues, I ran this on a dpp mount for my springfield XD9 and right out of the box this thing was dialed in didn't have to adjust the sight one bit results will be different but it was a shock for me. overall great optic for it's price especially if you are not trying to go broke getting a optic for a pistol.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy install.
Easy to install. Odd on/off area for switch. Lower illumination, perfect green dot, Highest setting has a little spike to the upper left. I do like the unit, after 100 rounds will update. Just a target sight for a Glock (had to move sight to the right so far it looked odd). I will say a good buy. 3 inch 6 inch plates go down 10 ring constant hits10, 15, 25 yards, yahoo.

Good Optic
This Optic was a direct mount on a Doctor cut PSA Dagger Compact. After direct mounting the site using the rubber dampener then the optic on top, laser sighting it in and locking down the windage and elevation screws I'm happy to report 200 rounds later of 124 grn 9mm grind hard ammo the site works perfect. Never lost zero or malfunctioned, and It does co-witness with iron sites. Very surprised for the price this thing even worked and the brightness levels are perfect. I highly suggest using the supplied rubber mount and be sure to tighten down the windage and elevation screws after sighting it in. Just ordered another one for my other PSA Dagger Compact Doctor cut build. Cheers.

victory .22 works great
put this on my 22 pistol and so far it has held up to me shooting, never comes loose. the one thing I would say is that the dot isn't that crisp of a dot. but you are getting what you paid for so be happy with it lol or go spend the 200$

the price optic is great
I mounted it to my 9mm glock and fit model 19 as described. I bore sighted optic, ok no problems. Haven't had tme to range test yet. This red dot optic looks and operates just like the more expensive red dots.I love the price, but the only draw back is the warranty coverage compared to the more expensive optics.
