  • This green dot sight comes equipped with a Picatinny mounting base and is also compatible with various handgun mounting plates that replace the rear sight dovetail. It's designed to fit the Doctor Footprint Plate/Slide seamlessly.

The on/off switch for this sight is conveniently positioned at the front, making it much easier to press compared to red dots with side-mounted switches. It features a 3 MOA dot size and offers 5 illumination settings. The sight is fully adjustable for windage and elevation and can be locked into place. With unlimited eye relief and various illumination settings, it is powered by an included lithium CR2032 battery.

Since its initial release in 2014, we've implemented numerous improvements to enhance its durability, ensuring it can withstand recoil while also improving its ability to hold zero. The front switch, battery housing, and hardware have all been recently updated, reflecting our commitment to continuous enhancement. This product is proudly designed in Oregon.

Although it's feasible to install the optic on a handgun without the assistance of a gunsmith, we highly recommend seeking the expertise of a professional for the installation process. It's essential to note that unprofessional installations, such as improper torque application, can lead to issues like loose screws, an inability to hold zero, damage to the firearm or optic, and even pose a risk of personal injury.

If you're not seeing a perfect round dot but instead observe a splashed dot, half-moon shape, multi-dot, or starburst, there's a high probability (99%) that you might have astigmatism without being aware of it. What you perceive is likely a small reflection of the LED light on the lens. A quick and simple way to confirm this is by using your cellphone to take a photo of the dot. If the photo shows a circular dot, you've essentially diagnosed yourself with astigmatism.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good product for the money

Good product for the money. One issue I have is the battery placement. It’s under the device. Which means when the battery dies, you will need to unscrew it. Take it off the mount to change the battery.

    Buy it!

So far so good! I am surprised by its quality for such a cheap little red dot. I have this on my long range scope offset by 45 degrees. Adjusted well and it works great. Has held zero after firing and storage. Nice that it comes with a molded case cap. If I could gripe over one thing it would be the brightness during day shooting. It isn't as bright as other options, but it's so little that it probably isn't all that different from a 100+ dollar one. It has I think 5 brightness levels. I included some pics with the lowest and brightest. Enjoy

4.0 out of 5 stars Good product

It is a good product. After having this for a few months the Red dot stopped working and now only the green dot works. Tried to reach out to customer support, but the page has been removed.

great product, brtter than ones twice the price

Posted by Mark S Caouette on 21st Apr 2025

I'm reviewing the ADE tactical reflex dot sight (green dot RD3-006B) I bought this in December of 2020, so I've had some time with it. With that said, the main reason that I didn't give it a 5 star is the fact you have to remove the sight to change the battery. The battery lasts a good while as well (provided you don't leave it on when you put it up). there are 5 different brightness's to adjust for lighter and darker conditions (these work well and I have the green dot (I'm colorblind and the red dot disappears)). Setting it up is a breeze, make sure the locking screws are loose when you set it. It stays where you put it. I definitely would buy another one. this thing is every bit as good as the ones prices 2 to 4 times the cost.

4.0 out of 5 stars >_> paralax issue?? bright af

Posted by Charles C on 21st Apr 2025

i meeaan >_> i like ADE but i included a video as for durability i cannot say anything since i just got this (RD3-006B) and a RD2-006 (seems pretty quality) buuut as far as PARALAX /: thatd be the biggest draw back; you can see the video where i try to mimic "head bob" and u see at about 2' distance from the reticle is a yellow box with writing and the camera never reached my full extended arm length, sooo ive yet to mount it and see but ill keep it updated...its going on a ruger 57 so ill let ya know what medium/light recoil on a slide will do only immediate complaints are: •paralax issue •the mounting screw set knob is kinda bulky but thats me being picky, id love to see them use a mini quick mount latch like their RD2-006 model

    Great budget sight for plinking

Posted by MNTC on 21st Apr 2025

I bought this for a cheap and fun plinking pistol, a Keltec CP33. The sight has no trouble holding zero, but then 22lr doesn't really challenge it at all. I have an astigmatism so I can't really speak to how crisp the dot is, but for what it's worth it looks about the same as my expensive dot sights to my wonky eyes. Only reason I'm holding back one star is for some minor issues I have with it, but they aren't deal breakers. The mount has one of those massive screws that sticks out the side, I'd prefer having to lock it down with an allen key rather than that giant knob. The other issue is that the lens doesn't appear to have any coatings so I do get some reflections. Either way it's a good low budget sight that suits my purposes and would have no issues recommending it to a friend.

It fits an XDM stop asking me if it fits your gun. Unless it is an XDM I don't know the answer.

Posted by benjamin d trask on 21st Apr 2025

I mounted this on my Springfield XDM. The hardest part was removing the sight then centering the v-notch that goes in its place. After that using the mounting bracket was easy, and it installed very nicely. The on/off button on the front is easy to hit even with my fat fingers, and the intensity of the dot is quite easy to do. All in all it is a very good sight especially for the price. Most other sights of this quality are going to be in the hundreds of dollars. I don't know if it fits your gun. I have an XDM stop asking me if it fits anything else, because I don't know.

    Good Value, Works As Intended

Posted by B. Marshall on 20th Apr 2025

I purchased this for a 22 pistol to see if I like the idea of a Red (green) Dot sight. The unit has good fit and finish and appears to be a quality made product. It includes several different sets of attachment screws which is nice but would be great if they would include an extra set of locating pins are they are extremely small (about 1/8 inch) and very easy to lose. My only complaint is the adjustment screws have a lot of play; for example if I want to adjust the aim, once the set screw is loosened, I may have to turn the adjustment screw 3/4 turn before any resistance, indicating that I am moving the aiming point. Otherwise nicely made and good value for the price. A word of advice for the seller/manufacturer: your product line is confusing and lacks clarity on the differences in your products and intended uses. It would be nice to have better intended usage as well as specs.

4.0 out of 5 stars At its price point the sight is well designed and engineered. Beware, battery NOT included!

Posted by Ashley Amber on 20th Apr 2025

At its price point, this sight is well designed and engineered. It has a clear, bright green, MOA 3 dot display at all five brightness levels. The On/Off illumination control ("one button does all" ) is positioned on the front of the sight for one finger operation. Its controls are simple and easy to use, just keep remember, it does not have Auto Off function. Also, contrary to the product description, it will fit both picatinny and weaver rails. It come with a very basic manual, tools for adjustment, rubber sight cover and rail mount, but DOES NOT come with the CR2032 battery, which is stated, as part of the complete package, (see Description >Features & details>forth (4th) bullet remark, bottom of statement. "CR2032 battery included ") explaining why, I gave it only a 4 star rating. IMPORTANT NOTE: As stated in the owners manual. It's very important to completely loosen the two small set screws, on the back of the sight, before adjusting elevation and windage screws! After you have finished making your adjustments, apply a type of "Blue Loctite" on the both set screws and tighten firmly. (not not over tighten)

    I paid $80 and I would pay $120

    Posted by cashkid42 on 20th Apr 2025

I put this on my g19 with a mount I bought from wish (yea I know) it all mounted flawlessly but I recommend getting a sight pusher if you do anything with hand guns, out of the box it needed a lot of sight adjustment but after ~8 rounds it shot a consistent 5 inch group at 10 yds I’m not the best with a pistol but I think that’s incredible, I came to realize that if I’m in a active shooter situation I don’t want to fumble around to turn on a sight so I put irons back on and put this on a 223 I had that had no sight at all and once again it took about 8 rounds and it was shooting quarter size groups consistently at 35yds the mount is perfect height for my eye and FOV is pretty nice my friend picked it up and shot it, he ordered one before we even left the range.

    Honestly I can't complain

Posted by Customer on 20th Apr 2025

I bought this because it was cheap and available in the footprint I needed fully expecting it to 100% fail. I was thinking it was, at best, for airsoft guns. 3 years and 1000+ rounds of 9mm, including +P, later and it still works. The zero is still true, the glass is still clear, and the only thing I have had to do is change the battery. I wanted it to fail to justify spending money on a Vortex but it just hasn't given up on me yet.
