RMSc to RMR, DDP To 407C/507C Adaptor Plate - Converting Optic Cut/Plate with K/RMSc/DDP Footprint to Accept RMR, Holosun 407C/507C, ADE RD3-029 Trumpet,Swampox Kingslayer/Liberty/Justice Red Dot

The optic footprint world is honestly confusing these days. I accidentally bought an RMR optic before realizing my pistol slide was cut for RMSc/407K. Instead of replacing the optic, I found this adapter. Glad I did. it fit much better than expected. Tolerances were tight without needing modification. I installed it on a Taurus GX4 TORO and mounted my RMR optic afterward. Everything lined up correctly and looked surprisingly clean once assembled. I’ve now carried this setup for over two months and also shot roughly 500 rounds through it. No screws backing out, no plate movement, and zero has remained consistent. The adapter added a little extra height but not enough to bother me during draw or target acquisition. For anyone stuck with mismatched footprints, this adapter is absolutely worth considering.

I own several mounting plates from different manufacturers and honestly expected this to be average at best. Instead I was pleasantly surprised once I opened the package. The edges were cleanly machined with no sharp burrs. Finish was even and the screw holes aligned correctly with my slide. Installation only took around ten minutes total. I mounted a Holosun 507C pattern optic onto a pistol originally designed around the RMSc footprint. At the range the setup held zero perfectly. I intentionally shot several rapid-fire strings because cheaper adapter plates sometimes shift slightly under recoil. This one stayed locked in place. One thing I especially appreciate is that the plate does not look oversized or awkward once mounted. Some adapters make the entire pistol look clunky, but this one blends fairly nicely with the slide profile. Overall this was a great purchase and I would absolutely buy another one for future builds.

I purchased the HM31 because I already owned an RMR footprint red dot and didn’t want to replace it just to fit my newer pistol slide. This adapter ended up being the perfect solution. The plate itself feels solid and doesn’t look cheap at all. I was worried adding an adapter would make the optic sit extremely high, but surprisingly the setup still feels natural when presenting the firearm. Co-witness is not perfect with standard sights obviously, but still usable enough for range work. After several range sessions I checked all screws and everything remained tight. No shifting, no movement, no loss of zero. For the price this adapter exceeded my expectations and saved me a lot of money compared to buying another optic.

The adapter does work and mounted securely, but I did need to slightly adjust one screw because it felt tight going in. After installation everything functioned fine and held zero. I think machining tolerances could be a little cleaner, but overall it still got the job done and saved me from buying another optic.

Simple product but very useful. Mounted an RMR pattern optic onto my Hellcat setup using this plate and it worked great. Fitment was snug with no wobble. Definitely recommend using blue Loctite and proper torque. After installation mine has stayed rock solid.

This adapter plate solved a problem I had been fighting with for weeks. I have a slide cut for RMSc/507K style optics but wanted to run an RMR footprint optic instead.
