Product Description (Optimized Version)
This optic mounting plate allows installation of a micro red dot sight onto compatible Ruger SR series models by replacing the factory rear sight. It provides a secure, low-profile mounting solution for improved sight setup.

Important Notice
This plate is NOT compatible with Ruger Security-9 models. The SR series and Security-9 series are different platforms and are not interchangeable.
Installation Notes
- Recommended torque: 15 in-lb
- Use threadlocker (e.g., blue Loctite) for secure installation

Note:
These models install using the rear mounting holes only.
The front locating pins are not used.
Screws Included
Includes multiple sets of mounting screws for common optics (ADE, Shield, Holosun, Vortex, Burris, etc.).
- Screws will fit most listed optics, but not all variations
- If needed, longer or shorter screws can be sourced from local hardware stores (e.g., ACE Hardware)

The following optics also use the rear mounting holes only (no front locating pins):

Ruger SR9 fit
Does not have the notch for chambered round inidicator, and the fit is very tight if you can get it on the slide.

ADE, SR9, RED DOT, sit mount on my Ruger SR9.
In addition I installed the Hk 40 adaptor on my HK40. BOTH ADAPTIRES WORKED GREAT WITH MY VORTEX RED DOT sites. One thing I would ask, is there a tool available to assist in pressing the site adaptors on? I found, running a bead of gin oil on the leading edge of the adaptors once started, and let them set overnight helps immensely in tapping the adaptors into place.

Very!! lose fit of the sigh platform into the gun sight groove. I hope it holds up.
