ADE RD3-012 PRO Delta PRO Red Dot Sight
Top load system, no need to remove the sight to change the battery. Comes with red dot, tool, removable picatinny plate with two screws, cover, lens cloth and instruction manual. Fits pistol optic plate/cut that is compatible with Doctor/Vortex Venom/Burris Fastfire footprint. Does NOT fit optic plate/cut for RMR, Shield RMS type footprints.
The ADE Delta PRO (D3-012PRO) has Motion Activated System technology. While Delta PRO is turned on, the red dot illumination goes to sleep after five minutes of inactivity, but when any motion or vibration is detected, it instantly switches on illumination at the previous brightness setting.
The reticle can be switched between a 32 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot, a 2 MOA dot only, or a 32 MOA ring only at the push of a button. Better yet, the same LED projects both reticles, so no re-zeroing is necessary. Operates with a single CR1632 battery. Press and hold the DOWN switch for 3 seconds to manually turn on/off the power. Press and hold the UP switch for 3 seconds to change reticle. Quick press Up/Down switches to adjust brightness.
Dimensions are 1.75 inches length by 1.25 inches width by 1.15 inches height. IP67 Waterproof. The lens is coated with multi-coating to eliminate glare and provide a high level of performance in low light.

Solid Everyday Optic With Clear Limitations
Let me start by saying this has been a reliable optic on my everyday practice rifle. Zero stayed put, mount never loosened, and the dot is easy to see once you find the right brightness. That said, there were a few downsides. The brightness dial clicks felt stiff at first, and adjusting them with gloves on wasn’t ideal. In bright sunlight the dot required max brightness to stay visible, and even then it faded a bit compared to other optics I’ve used. Still, for the money I’m happy with it, just aware that it’s not a premium experience.

Clarity Was Okay, But Not Great at Longer Distances
I bought this primarily for mid-range work out to 200 yards. It’s decent for close to moderate ranges — the dot is easy to pick up, and brightness settings cover most conditions. But beyond 150 yards on a bright afternoon, I noticed the dot starts to lose crispness, and the slight haze in the glass becomes noticeable. It’s usable, but not nearly as sharp as the higher-end optics I’ve used. For casual range fun or close training drills it works fine, but I wouldn’t rely on it for serious long-range precision.

Solid Piece on a Budget-Friendly Setup
I built a budget rifle for fun and shooting drills, and I needed an optic that wouldn’t break the bank but still felt dependable. This red dot was exactly that. It’s not premium glass, but it’s functional and reliable. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how well it holds up under regular use. Nothing about it feels flimsy or like it’s going to fail in a way that would leave me stranded at the range.

Great for Everyday Training and Confidence Building
I use this red dot for everyday practice, and I appreciate how intuitive it feels. The brightness settings cover everything from indoor range lights to brighter outdoor sun without losing clarity. The dot itself feels natural to acquire, and I never find myself fighting glare or distortion. Over time, that smooth behavior has helped build both muscle memory and confidence.
-
Easy Zero, Stable in Practice
The first time I put this on, I zeroed at my usual distance without needing to fuss. After that initial setup, the optic stayed where it should. I’ve taken it out dozens of times since, and I keep expecting to have to tweak it, but I don’t. Stability is a trait I respect in gear, and this one delivers it consistently.

A Red Dot That Didn’t Get in the Way
One thing that used to bother me about some optics is how they obstruct part of the sight picture or make the firearm feel top-heavy. This optic doesn’t do that. It’s compact, lightweight, and doesn’t interfere with my natural hold or balance. Even when shooting extended sessions, I never felt like the sight was tugging at my shoulder or forcing me into awkward positions. It just works.
-
Held Zero Through Weather and Transport
I’ve used this off and on for several months, in conditions ranging from blazing summer sun to cold early mornings. The dot has stayed zeroed through all of it. I transport my rifle frequently, and other optics I’ve had in the past would slowly drift or need re-zeroing. Not this one. It’s a relief to be able to grab my rifle and go without checking screws and settings each time.

Made Shooting More Consistent for Me
As someone who struggled with grouping consistency, this red dot helped bring a level of predictability to my shots. I’m not a competition shooter, but practicing with this optic gave me a clearer aiming reference that ultimately helped tighten my groups and build confidence. I appreciate that it doesn’t add unnecessary bulk or complication — it just gives me a clear point of aim and stays out of the way.

An Honest Optic With Predictable Behavior
What I like most about the RD3-012PRO D1 is its predictability. I don’t feel like it surprises me, and I don’t have to rethink my setup every time I use it. Brightness adjustments are easy, the mount feels secure, and the dot doesn’t distort at odd angles. I’ve used it on drills and casual range days alike, and it feels the same every time — no learning or readjusting, just shooting.

Balanced Performance for Everyday Shooters
I’m a recreational shooter who enjoys both plinking and serious practice. I wanted a red dot that was versatile and dependable without being overcomplicated, and this one fit the bill. Zeroing was straightforward, the dot is easy to pick up, and it stays visible in a variety of lighting. I took it from a bright summer afternoon to a dim indoor lane with no problems. It’s not a high-end optic, but for everyday use it’s more than capable.
-
Durable and Consistent Through Heavy Use
This red dot has lived on my rifle for months, and it’s been through some serious usage. I don’t coddle my gear — it gets banged around, stored in soft cases, and hauled in and out of trucks. Through all that, the dot stayed zeroed and the housing remained sturdy. I especially appreciate that the mount doesn’t loosen over time like some cheaper optics I’ve tried. This one feels like it was designed to be used hard and not fussed over.

Helped Me Overcome Sight Alignment Stress
I’ve always been comfortable with iron sights, but shooting quickly and accurately under time pressure was a challenge. Adding this red dot changed that. It wasn’t instantaneous — there was a learning curve — but over time it helped me focus on fundamentals instead of worrying about perfect sight alignment. During close-quarters drills and even slower precision work, the reticle stayed crisp and easy to see. I’ve put this optic through a lot of repetitive training, and it hasn’t let me down.

Practical Red Dot That Grew on Me Over Time
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first got the RD3-012PRO D1. After installing it on my carry pistol I took it to the range a few times just to see how it behaved. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to zero — a few clicks and I was lined up at 15 yards. Over the next couple of months, I used it in different lighting conditions and on different drills. It never felt like it was holding me back. The dot stayed consistent, brightness adjustments were intuitive, and I didn’t have to babysit it. What started as a “maybe this will work” became something I trust without thinking about it.
